This is a strange post. I'm going to Orlando, Florida in March. I'll be staying at Disney, but I also will be in possession of a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. My question is. Are there any interesting sites to see around Orlando, within say 20-30 miles? I want to drive the car around but I also want to do some shooting.

Thanks...

the places I'd suggest are all more than 20-30 miles. With that radius you wont get out of the 'burbs.

Go to either coast, or Croc Alley and the wetlands.

go to daytona, little more than 30 miles more like 50 but have beach & ocean, boats and such. also some of the spring break mania will be going on during some of that time.

Sweet. I heard Daytona Beach is a little rough though? Wrong information?

Agree with going to the coasts, either side. Beautiful beaches, sunrises, sunsets and wildlife. Check out some of the state parks. Old Town Kissimmee hosts a few events, if you like bikes and/cars. Down Town Orlando for the city scape. The theme parks themselves are a source of beautiful images.

A bit further is St. Augustine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Augustine,_Florida), oldest city in USA. I drove back to Orlando via Highway 1 (A1A?) which takes you right down the eastern coast past some beautiful beaches and small towns.

We just flew thru Orlando and took time to hit Merritt Island NWR and Cape Canaveral. Pretty close by, we stayed at an airport hotel. At Merritt, the wildlife drive was fantastic.

There are plenty of sights, go to flausa.com and you will find all kinds of places to visit. Some places of interest if you are a nature photographer would be Lou Gardens(Orlando), Big Tree Park(longwood), Sanford Zoo (have new zip line attraction), Old Town (kissimee lots of old cars and lights) Check that site out, there are alot of hidden gems in and around Orlando. Only you will know what you are really looking for. :)

I hope that helps.
