Just wondering if I should keep the boxes that my camera and lenses came in. How long do you normally keep them?

Yes, definitely keep them. Keep them until you sell them or pass them on. Increases resale value and give you a customized shipping box.

I bought a T90 about 18 years ago, and I've still got the box. I've still got the box of the lens that came with it too.
I'm working on the basis that if I ever sell it, it will be more attractive to buyers if it still has the original box.

I would try to keep them. I am kicking myself for not keeping the box for my 30D now that I am thinking about selling it.

Ok great. I sort of thought I should keep them and glad I did. Now I just have to find a spot for them.

I keep all my boxes and packaging. When I sell equipment is put everything back in the box, manuals, cables, CDs, whatever. And if you ever need to send anything in for repair, you're set.I've had the unfortunate experience of sending a lot of stuff to Canon. Each time they have instructed me not to send in the original packaging unless I don't want it back.
