Hi,
I have a rebel Xs camera which uses a LP-E5 battery. My battery charger has a light which glows red when the battery is charging and glows green when its fully charged.hope everyone should be having the same charger. Now a days my charger is behaving a little weird.when i put my Battery in the charger and plug in to electric socket ,the lights glow red indicating it is charging but the light switches off very soon may be in 30 seconds and when i plugin the charger after 10 min the same thing repeats again.

So my question is Has anyone faced the same issue? if yes how can this be resolved?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks
Krishna

Just going by what's happening I'd suspect a bad cell in the pack if it's with one specific battery, but if more than 1 battery does the same thing the charger has died.

Ignoring the light, is the battery actually being charged? Maybe the green light just burned out? The charger for my G11 (not the same battery, I know) doesn't go from red to green, it just stays red when charging and goes off when done. Come to think of it, none of my Canon chargers have a green light on them.
