I've been trying to copy the style; which from I gather, usually got done with color grad filters, heavy vigneting and long tele.

The angle of the shot was very conservative, not quite the TG style I know. I also did some other angles, but I'd reserve them for later until I got the effects right.

Please help me by your comments and critics.

Spot on! Only thing u forgot was the lap time the Stig squeezed out of it on the test track?

Thanks for the kind words. I realize that the background needs more blurring, but my zoom lens isn't that fast.

Here are two more shots, showing more lines:

I wish I could find some foliage/brushes for the 3rd shot, to mimic the Top Gear style more

Hello,

you sure are pretty close to the TG effect.

As for some more foliage, take a look at this site Free PhotoShop brushes (http://www.brusheezy.com/)

Paint job and a set of rims, maybe?

Hehehe, seriously I like em. Especially the first.

#1 would look pretty good, except for what's going on in the hood? And #3 has a pole growing out of it.

I think I saw this episode! Is it just me or do they also put a cool tone into the mix? I guess the only way to tell is if you would kindly post the shots of your Koenigsegg so we could get a better comparison! ;)

I don't own a Koenigseggseggseggsegg ;)
I think the Stig would rather walk the lap, than drive my old beater car!

I will post my other car soon, but it's just a typical late model 350Z convertible though..
nothing as dramatic as this old rust bucket

Hi DutchOven,

The effects were done on picasa and picnik, both are free.
Blue color graduated ND effect from Picasa, about 1/2 strength
Vignetting from Picnik, largest size with min effect.

Some say that the wheels are underexposed, and that the highlight on the wing is blown... all we know is, it wasn't driven by the Stig :D
