Hey,
I took this just after our heart breaking loss in our Regina Ultimate (Frisbee) city championship game. We lost in universe point (similar to that of sudden death overtime in hockey) after we rallied back from a 5 point deficit.

I was expecting a shot with a lot of emotion, this doesn't have any...sucks about the loss though, is it like hockey and they get a point :)

I'm not really feeling it either...

No offense but to me its just another shot of a players back. It doesn't display any feelings or emotions of the loss.

I think it would've turned out better if you had focused on the guy further away from the camera; he's head is more slumped, shoulders are high up; like he feels heavy, exhausted after their loss.
Also focusing on the guy with the name Ramrod, just made me giggle and say "Car Ramrod"...but that's a whole other story.

That's one of the hardest things for me to do; separate my emotion from an image when critiquing it. I can imagine you certainly feel the emotion of this image. But for us, it is just the back of an athlete walking off the field.

Nice shot, but it has no meaning to me either. I like the name though!

Poor Ramrod :(
Heart breaking losses are often accompanied by tears or sad faces. Based on what you wrote, I'm sure Ramrod is devastated, but how do we know just from looking at the photo?
What action did you use on this? It looks pretty cool. Is it RAD?
