Greetings
I'm a new Canon 350D user. My first attempt to transfer images onto my G5 iMac was successful, but today I could not get a connection to work, despite uninstalling the software and reinstalling. First off, the computer downloaded the images through Nikon 5 software I also have on the computer. I have since uninstalled that Nikon software.
When I was reinstalling, I got a couple of interruption messages, but overrode them to -- I think -- successfully install the software. But all I got was a message telling me there wasa no connection and to retry. When I retried, the computer jammed and I had to shutdown. This happened twice. I tried a third time ot reinstall with similar results.
I am a computer ignoramus. Obviously I have done something wrong, either in uninstalling, or installing. I think at some point I may have trashed some of the orginal software items. I would be grateful if someone with Mac literacy could suggest a remedy, or point me in the direction of help.
Many thanks in advance.
