Hello,
My son and I created a custom website using software that was designed to do what we wanted it to do. His server was old and now we want to create a website that is hosted by another company. Which website hosts would you suggest as being easy and would allow for some customization? As this is a hobby for me and I do not sell my work cost is a consideration for me.
My old website would take my image after the PP and reduce it to the size I had specified for my thumbnails as well as create a frame for it. It was an excellent way to reduce my workload and especially since I am computer challenged it made things so much simpler. Any help you can give will be most appreciated, thank you.

Warmest regards,

Tim

i use nearlyfreespeech.net they may not have some of the features that other websites do, but its cheap and works for me.

I have 3 wordpress websites under 1 domain name (and 1 smugmug site that redirects to the domain name) and i still only end up using $2 a month at the highest. We only get about 20-30 visitors a month, not including myself or people who work on the website and that keeps the cost low. if i were to start getting a few hundred visitors a day, i would switch to a new server.

Their business is based on you pay for what you use. i have probably spent $80 in the last 2 years and more than half has been buying/ renewing domain names.

Hostgator http://hostgator.com or Bluehost http://bluehost.com are considered to be good hosts at a reasonable price.

I use Bluehost and like it. I have no other experience though.
