So which crumpler will best fit the following set-up as compactly as possible?
7D + 17-55 attached (hood on but reversed).
Plus one or maybe two other lenses (from 10-22, 15-85, 24-105 or 70-300).
430EX Speedlite.
Gorrilapod SLR Zoom
CF Cards/Reader, Cables.
I've discounted the Muffin Top 5500 being way too small, I also doubt the 7500 will be quite big enough!
The New Delhi 510 seems the most likely choice but looks rather big for every day use, the New Dehli 390 looks perfect but doubt it will fit the kit in.
I don't want a back pack, already got a Lowepro Slingshot, just fancy a Crumpler to be stealthy and not advertise I'm carrying expensive kit around with me.
Has anyone else found a Crumpler Solution for thier 7D collection?

It sounds like a 6 Million Dollar Home may do the trick for you. I have one for my 7D. I also have a 7 Million Dollar Home but it is a bit large for general walk around use. I only use to to haul all my strobist gear.

My 6MDH stores my gripped 7D, 24-70, 70-200 2.8 IS, 10-20, 50 1.4, extener, 430EXII, plus all the cables, cards, pens, filters etc. Perfect bag.

Thanks for the suggestion, the only trouble is the 5/6/7/8 MDH range are not available in the UK or Europe!!! really Annoying.
The 6MDH looks perfect.

That's a hec of a lot of kit you've got in yours, it seems I wouldn't have any problems fitting my stuff in if only I could get hold of one.
Thanks.
Note to self "must try to combine multiple posts in one reply".
Should also have asked if any one knew of the equivalent European names/sizes of the MDH range!

6MDH definitely! The 7MDH is a bit big or that unless you plant o carry more later?

Plenty of eBay sellers would ship to you. Just be sure to use US eBay vs UK.

I know you've already received the advice, but I'll chime in too.
6MDH all the way!

Thanks for the ideas guys and the 6MDH sounds just perfect. As it is I've ordered the Muffin Top 7500 after seeing it in the Camera Bag Review sticky thread and deciding that if its not quite big enough then I'll maybe get 6MDH or equivalent later.
These images made me think the 7500 might just do :-

Thats a 40D plus 17-55 attached in the image above (thanks to pete-eos for posting these in 7500 thread).
I'm still interested in what other 7D owners are using in case I decide to go for two Crumplers!

Hi, I've got a Crumpler Ben's Pizza XXXL which looks similar to the 7500...
Although I don't have a 7D, I can easily carry round gripped 5D with 24-70 attached, plus 135L, 15 and 1.4 TC, 580 EXII, lens pen, spare batteries and cf cards. I can swap the 135 with the 70-200 F4 at a push..
I've also got a Crumpler XL Stripper RIpper rucksack for camera + laptop, but I can't fit the 5D with 24-70 attached, so I've only used it as hand luggage when travelling abroad.
You can never have too many Crumplers ;)

I guess that if a gripped 5D + 24-70 will fit no problem then I'll be ok with the 7D + 17-55, thanks for sharing your experience on this. Just waiting for 2moro morning and our Royal Mail Posty to deliver then I can try it out :)
I'm beggining to think I'll have more bags than my other half soon!

Well the Crumpler Muffin Top 7500 arrived this morning and I've just managed to have a play around with it. Like everyone says they do look smaller than Crumpler make them out to be but it seems reasonable for my everyday type of bag.
So the first image below shows the 7D with EF-S 17-55 attached (lens hood reversed), EF 70-300 (no hood) below a flap on which I can also put one from a choice of EF-S 10-22, EF-S 15-84, EF-S 18-135 or 430EX Speedlite.
The 430EX needs to be out of its case and ratcheted into an 'L' shape.
The EF-S 10-22 and EF-S 15-85 will fit with hoods reversed.
The EF-S 18-135 fits but I have no hood yet for this lens, same goes for the 70-300.
My cater for all needs kit at the moment might be:-
EF-S 17-55 (with hood) attached to the 7D
EF-S 10-22 (with hood)
EF 70-300 (hood required).
Anyway that's only my first thoughts, now the images:-

Now the second image with the EF-S10-22 and hood attached.
420855
I still think I'm going to tweek the configuration as I'm not sure its as good as it can be, but not bad for a first attempt and I'm sure other 7D togs will appreciate knowing the capability of this bag.
The lid of the bag close perfectly with any combination of the above and I've also got CF cards and reader, spare batteries in the front pocket.
I'd like to get my Gorillapod SLR Zoom in but its not looking likely without putting it on top of the camera which would not be good at all plus the lid of the bag would be difficult to close!
So far so good.......:D
p.s. photos taken with a Panasonic FZ38, another great little camera.

Looks good, but a bit smaller than the Ben's Pizza XXXL...
I'm on the hunt for a new camera, so I'll be looking into 7MDH and bigger bags soon... Let me know if you decide to upgrade to a Million Dollar Home, as I'm interested in getting one to the UK!

I have the 7mdh and with my gripped 7D in the middle with any lens attached and two lenses in the corners it just fits. I recently got the TT UD 70 pro and I find it much more suitable but it's quite big but I love TTs quality and is not conspicuous too :)

What am I missing? I could never fit that. What flash are you talking about?
