Had an amazing time shooting, the couple liked to take their own direction.. had all the locations picked out and everything. Made my job seem easier, but I am not sure if I like the way these turned out or not... Maybe it's because I wasn't the one that planned the locations, poses, etc. I'm not sure. CC welcome.

I really like #1. #3 is great seems to need straightening. I think it is an important ability to go with a customers ideas, unless they are really bad. In this case, they work out wonderful. When you can work your style into their ideas, people love them.

I like the first one. Last two would probably look better a tad tighter.
Im curious, how long have you been into photography?

the location on the second is great. I like it best. Do you have more from that location. I really need to get out and find some old no longer used bridges around where I am. The first one is good. The last one, eeh... there is too much distraction in it for me. If it were in the middle of a city street the cars/trucks and signs wouldn't bother me. But to be walking down a sidewalk hand in hand under such nice trees I find the background elements distracting. Also, the whites appear to be a little blown. But, I have to work on my monitor calibration so... I could be wrong there.

I like the second shot best. Third shot is way to busy.

Yay! With #1 they really wanted to be on this bench, and I actually set up that shot. For some reason I kept messing around with 3 and tried to set the lines straight according to the trees on either side and the lines in the concrete running horizontally. Maybe it's just a bad angle to shoot from.
I guess my style is to shoot wider, so I only go in tight about 25% of the time. In this case I tried to get as much of the environment in as possible since they were pretty locations. To answer zachbreaux's question: I have been shooting since about April.
And yes, I do have more from the second location, I should be able to post some this afternoon.
Thanks for the cc guys.

They look pretty good to me, I rather like the second one.. the bridge frames them nicely. The first one is a nice shot, how they are cuddling in the background but I think the color is off and I think it could be a little brighter.. It seems a bit green to me. Exposure, color, light all look pretty nice in #2. In #3 I find the car and signs (more the car) to be a bit of a distraction. Too bad about their matching white button down shirts and jeans..

#3 is too distracting
from the pics you recently posted it would have been nice if they were looking at the camera occasionally.

You are right, it would have been nice. They were very specific about not having posed shots.
