Hello all.

If I shoot in movie mode at 15fps, is it possible to break the movie apart and use this feature as a very high speed shutter???

I have not tried this and I am curious to see if anyone else has.

Yes, that is possible, there are programs to view the movie picture by picture and save one frame as a picture. But the resolution is not very high: 320 x 240 pixels...

Hi Roel,

Do you know what the program is called I assumed that you would not get any better than 320x240 as that is how the image is made. :D

James,

One way to do this is to open the AVI-file in Adobe ImageReady (this is part of Photoshop). Another program is http://www.cursorarts.com/ca_imffw.html (but I'm not sure if you can open AVI-files with it).
