New 400 5.6L for birding!

Tried out my new 400 5.6 this morning for the first time before heading off to work. These were taken from my porch with a better beamer. Can't wait to get out this weekend to put the lens to more of an extensive workout! Also, comments would be well appreciated about my use of the beamer with this lens. Do you feel that they still look fairly natural with the beamer? Does anyone remove the reflection in the birds eyes from the flash in PP?

I've no experience of a better beamer, but I would guess reducing the power so it is just about sufficient would help give a more natural look. Enjoy the 400.

Better beamers are great, but like anything you need to play with your settings to dial it in.

The 400 looks nice!
