I'm interesting in seeing who all uses these. Does anyone have any comments or problems with these. I might pick up a couple to put around while I am at an event.

I don't think they'd apply to me though I do have clients interested in these. Speaking of which you just reminded me to get back to them.

What's the difference between a "vortex banner" and a regular banner?

Vortex is like a standing Vertical Banner vs one that hangs horizontally and on a wall.

They look interesting. Would be nice to carry a couple with me for games to set up at the ticket-taker's table. I can't find any prices on the banners or the stands, do you know how much they run?

Vortext banners are like cheaper versions of watchamacallits
The polyprophelyene roll out things that come in the little metal cases and look like blinds.
whats the word...
Banner stand. There.

Looks fragile. Where would you put it? How would you use it? Around here the major clients are tradeshows or their hosts.
They vary depending on the manufacturer. I think those ones in the UK are pretty cheap, though.
I would say $100 on the low end, wholesale, for one of them and up to 2000 on the high end.
Not sure about the USA but in vancouver there is a place that can do a 30x70" stand and casing for $500. I think those dinky ones (vortext banners) may be a bit cheaper.

I would be primarily using them at the same events that I cover. Basically that way people have knowledge that I am there other than the announcment. Well see if it turns out some better buisness.. Ill post a photo of mine when I get it.

yes. That includes printing of the graphic banner and design of it as well.

Looks like they're more generally referenced as just banner stands. I think these would be a good idea. I've though about sandwich boards, but I think these would grab a lot more attention.

Each?

175 each with the actual stands... the ones the company are doing for me come with a second set of arms and legs so if I get another I only have to pay for the graphic to get printed again.
this is good quality material also.
