I was indeed but when the wall behind you limits how far away you can get to fit the plane in the frame i think this solution worked just fine.

Wow, you did a great job with that. I can barely tell where the stitches are. Thanks for showing us where you stitched them. :-D

Good job! That middle shot does an excellent job of giving you plenty of pixels to correct the distortion on the inner edges of the other two.

This is a great Pano shot! I have never done a pano shot before, but I have noticed that all pano shots have bulge in the middle. I was wondering, is there a way to correct for the bulge/distorion in the middle of the picture? Any Ideas?? The only thought I had is that you draw two parallel lines on the ground when setting up the picture. On line is along the plane (no pun intended) of the subject and the other is along the line where the camera is set-up. when you take the picture and rather than pivot the camera on its axis, you slide the camera parallel to the plane of the subject.
Any other ideas?

That photo is a credit to you, i use the photoshop cs2 for my stitching but looking at what you've done with a box standard software is great. Where did you go for the shots, i live in west yorkshire, i think there is a museum near by....?

Nice Merge!! Took a while to find the seams.. (didn't look down till after I found them...) but find them I did.. because I have also been experimenting with the photo stitch program myself.
One of the things I try to do if I know I'm doing shots like this is to use a slight tele setting, which will eliminate some of the 'bulge' from the wide angle lens. Have to be careful with shots of an object compared to trees and mountains landscapes.. because the perspective sometimes gets out of whack. (corner on a flat wall of a building, funky angle of a car, etc.)
I read in another post somewhere around here that it is better to do Vertical (Portrait) shots, and you have lots of pixels to play with.. and the center of the image is pretty distortion free. Takes more images to weld.. but the results are worth it. (been practising...)
