Saw this nice photographic opportunity show through one of the windows facing the rear of my house (don't mind the Photomatix watermarks LOL):

What do you guys think? I just did the painting preset + CS3 auto contrast. Just wanted to do this quickly before I head off to work.

Don't shoot through windows. Open the window.

For shooting through a window it's pretty good. Reminds me of Mr. Rogers for some reason haha

This is the one window in my house that can't be opened :o....and I didn't use a tripod either lol

For a first try, not bad at all.

Looks pretty good for shooting through a window, has that dreamy painterly look. I take it that no tripod means a 1 shot tone mapped image.

I actually did 3 shots with AEB. I had to try to really brace the camera against the inside of my house near the bottom of the window at a weird angle. Overall, a great experience and I wanted to capture that nice looking cloud.

Not bad. Go out and shoot some more and play some more with photomatix. I still have my first HDR that I created, but I have advanced a whole lot into learning the controls more since then.
