Yes, a Canon Forum meetup would be great. I would love to see Lance when it for the last time in his career.

I would love to see him win his last as well. I just got the latest Sports Illustrated and he is on the cover with an interview of him inside, he said "I do not intened to lose my last Tour". I hope he wins.

Me and the wife are covering the time trial in St Ettienne this year,we gave up on Paris as unless you are staying in Paris the night before it is hard to get near the front.However a lot of the photographers take there stepladders with them to get above the crowds. Don't go home when the race has finished because after the presentations the teams ride along the Champs Elysee in formation. But most of all enjoy the day, it is fantastic, the speed of these guys is breathtaking, and they deserve every ounce of applause given to them.

Yea, I went as a fan last year, was tough, was on the barriers at 10am! However this year I'n working so don't have to mix it with the public and thus can get there at 3pm, check into hotel and then amble over to the Place de la Concorde in time for the arrival of the race. Life's tough ;)
