New member. All comments welcome, thanks. This was shot with a Canon EOS Rebel mounted with a telescope adapter to a small Orion telescope.

Thanks for the comments. I shot this picture in my back yard using a telescope lens with the camera set on manual. I had to try a few exposures to get it right. I also had to use a remote switch to get rid of the camera shake, because although everything was tripod mounted, the lens to telescope adapter is pretty long making the whole thing not too stable.
