Post Graduation in photojournalism (UK)

Hello,

I live in Portugal and I was thinking of entering a post graduation course in photojournalism in the UK since there is nothing worth my time and money in Portugal.

I was wondering if some of the British users could advise me on which are the best courses/universities and where to look regarding a photojournalism post graduation. I'm currently in my last year in a Journalism course.

Hi,

When I was in the UK, I believe that a college in Sheffield had a good rep (that may have been the current crop of students and/or teachers though). Why not try a web search first? I'm sure there will be those here who will know the college(s) you find and can really steer you.

'Photojournalism' is as difficult to define as 'photography' (perhaps more so) so your definition may alter where you'd like to go. My 'press' work (and I'll not try to define that!) had nothing to do with what I'd learned in college.

In a cursory search I came up with http://www.1854.eu/2009/03/are_photography_courses_useful.html from the BJP - a good (perhaps diverting) read.
