The bud I took sprouting eraly in the year is now blooming....please give critique, I now know to iron the background or get the subject far enough so the backgorund will be blurry, will try photoshop later...taken indoor with a refected diffused flash:

I would create a box because you are getting reflections from windows and yourself in the pot. Im not sure if I like the cloth on the bottom scrunched up or not either.

I would like to see a larger version. This size it is hard too see enough detail in the flower - which looks sharp enough. Did you do any processing (upped the saturation a bit?).
I agree that the reflections in the ball are distracting.

okay on the reflections coming from the window, now how do I build a box, also I did saturate the color a bit...

Have a look at the stickies in the "Small Flash and Studio Lighting" section of the forum. Any construction (plastic tubes with some cloth) that will disperse external lighting (lamps, strobes, natural sunlight when positioned outside) will do. They are called several names: light box, white box and so on. These contraptions (I have a very simple one with a white bed sheet and some plastic tubes and a couple of halogen 12V bulbs) will ensure that you get even lighting and no reflections or shadows.

Took photos today, effort to make a soft box by surrounding subject and hiding under a white bed sheet with two lights did not work well...anyway here are two reshots:

Very nice flowers. Can you put a larger version up, please?
It is a minor point - just like the reflection in the ball - but instead of the flower on a table or pedestal you might try a backdrop that does not have a "horizon". I have six A1 sized sheets of thin cardboard in various colours (white, blue, yellow, brown. black and red) which I use as a backdrop.
