Couldn't find one so decided to write my own.

Bag closed with super padded shoulder strap and sliplock loops.(3 on each side)

Bag with front buckle opened.

Bag and top open. Gear listed below.

Rear of bag with yet another pocket. Shown here is the "stability strap", luggage sleeve and top carrying handle. The rain cover comes out from the bottom.

I saw some review somewhere that said it was difficult to take a body out of the top. It's not easy, but it's not difficult if that makes any sense. Turning the camera parallel to the opening helps tremendously . A Rebel would have no problem being removed... I'm guessing 40d gripped wouldn't be fun.

40d removed.

Super convenient place for spare batteries. You don't have to unzip the bag to grab them... just unbuckle the strap.

Everything taken out (L-R):
Removable Padding
AA Maglite
40d w/ Tamron 17-50 f/2.8
Lowepro Memory card holder w/ 4AA Batteries
(Hiding behind strap) Included stuff bag with battery charger, body&Lens cap, USB cable, memory card reader
Lowepro Stealth Reporter D300
40d manual
2 batteries
Sigma 30mm f/1.4
Cleaning stuff in ziplock bag
430EX II
Moleskine notebook
Canon 70-200 f/4 IS

Linky to bag closed with a Lowepro LC3 and LC1W sliplocked.

As you can probably tell from above, I've got some extra space left over for another lens or two.

Good:
Tons and tons and tons of pockets and places to put stuff.
Comes with little pouch and memory card holder(Not shown)
Very well made.
D-Rings and strap clips metal.
Stability strap is quite helpful.

Bad:
Wish it was a half inch taller so I could keep the 70-200 mounted to the 40d and have it handy. The bag will close.. but the zipper teeth are hanging on for dear life. That's really it.

Hope this helps someone out.

Thanks for your description. bought one after returning from Phoenix where I learned to hate my Tenba shoulder bag. (trying to forget the experience. I've forgotten the name. ;) )

You did well to find the zippered pocket on the back inside of the bag. You show it open. I just found mine.

Mine has a different strap. Old style Lowepro. Maybe that's a production change.

I can't use the zipper on the top. That's ok.

Thanks for the review.

Love my 300. Thanks for the great review. If someone can find a better designed, more ruggedly built, action-oriented, waterproof camera bag, I'd like to see it.

I've put a PacSafe 200 strap on it for travel abroad and in the city.

I know what you mean about the height. But somehow, my 100-400 seats snugly in a corner.

I looked at the SR line and ended up with the ProMag2. Sturdier (more rigid), better strap, taller, so you can have a gripped 5DII and 70-200f4IS mounted.. no messenger style top flap to get in the way.

Less space for accessories but sufficient for me. You can always add a sliplock.

How does this compare to the previous Stealth Reporter 300 AW?
