This past Monday I had a chance to stop by the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge just north of Sequim, WA. Shots were take with a 300D, 100-400 lense, ISO 100.
Just as we made it down to the beach we spied this bald eagle enjoying its salmon breakfast...

As the eagle ate, a blackbird/crow (I need to figure out how to tell them apart) circled overhead and another one paced around anxiously awaiting scraps...

The one on the ground ventured a bit too close for comfort and got a stern response ...

Between the blackbirds and another batch of people approaching the beach the bald apparently had had enough and sought some peace and quiet to finish his salmon breadfast ...
