Upgrading my ram, best options? Sites?

Hey guys, I'm planning on upgrading my RAM up to 4gigs on my 2009 15" Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz w/ 2gigs of 1067Mhz DDR3 Ram.

I'm assuming if I get 2x 2gig (or 4x 1gig) 1067Mhz ram, it'll work on my Mac? Or does it have to be specifically designed for it? I've been browsing newegg, tigerdirect, amazon etc. and I was wondering what would be a good brand and site to order from? I've read crucial is pretty good and not to order from apple itself as they overprice their ram.

Any suggestions or reviews would be awesome. I don't have a huge budget either, just something that'll get the job done reasonably well.

Key thing seems to be making sure you get the correct type of RAM. There a several tutorials online about installing it correctly.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.53GHz, Mid 2009) and MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009)

Memory specifications:

Your computer has two memory slots that you can access by removing the bottom case. Your MacBook Pro comes with a minimum of 4 gigabytes (GB) of 1066 MHz Double Data Rate (DDR3) Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory (SDRAM) installed. Each memory slot can accept an SDRAM module that meets the following specifications:

* Double Data Rate Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (DDR3) format
* 30mm (1.18 inch)
* 2 GB or 4 GB
* 204-pin
* PC3-8500 DDR3 1066 MHz type RAM

You can add two 4 GB memory modules for a maximum of 8 GB of memory. For best performance, fill both memory slots and install an identical memory module in each slot.

I have used crucial memory as long as I can remember. The IT guys at the college where I teach tell me to only buy Crucial.
