I received my long avaited DSLR last week. I bought a EOS 350 with the battery grip and the 18-55 lens + 1Gb Ultra II. I have no previous experience with DSLR and have very little photo experience what so ever.

I have been using the camera quite extensivly this weekend but as I have no experience with photography there seems to be tons of stuff to learn. I have not understood everything about the camera yet but I am learning all the time.

Below is some of my first pictures. What do you think? Remember that I am a total newbie so please be gentle;)
Are they any good at all? I guess that they are not that good so can you give me some advices how to improve?

I think you're off to a very good start! Continue to practice, read about photography, and learn from others on photography forums. This one is very good for beginners and will help you in the learning process.

Enjoy the new camera! :)
