good colors and the exposure is spot on. i wouldve composed the shot a little differently, looks like her head is dead center on #2 and you cut her clogs off in #1. btw, WELCOME TO POTN!! :)

What a pretty girl... classic Asian beauty.
I like shot 2 a lot, the lines and colors.

Very beautiful photos. #1 you cut off her feet and there is alot of space above her head, other than that i like em both.

thanks! i think it's acceptable in this situation because the whole background has bamboo, if it was just one bamboo stalk i'd totally think the same thing.
thanks for the positive comments everyone. it wasn't a cropping problem that i had, it was a framing problem! i had poor framing technique, but will move forward knowing what to work on. thanks guys!

Very cute girl, and nice lighting. Only problem is that u left too much space inmy opinion on both picutres. And cut off her feet on another. Other than that, great shots.

Nice shots. Great dress. Beautiful model. I love the setting on #1. I am particularly fond of Japanese gardens. It's a minor quibble, but I would try a location that doesn't have the fencing in the background.
Did you think of composing both shots with the subject slightly off center? There's an obvious facing direction in both. You could give her a little more room in which to face.

I agree with the thought of taking a moment and finding a better look for the second one. All I see is bamboo shooting from her head. It's almost worth just finding a new look all together. It makes it look like you did not put to much thought into the frame, that's all. Also her fingers are getting cut off...
As for the first one, either keep the feet or shoot from the hip up, the feet missing is hurting the shot for me.
Also shift both shots, the center comp is not working. The final product will give off a much better look.
Other than that I feel your work is spot on.

I like it a lot ! Love the colours and the lighting !
As said before though, too much space above the head.
I personally don't mind the bamboo since the background is full of them.

Beautiful model and colors. However, I think there is too much dead space in the images. Also, it's been said, but bears repeating, watch for things growing out of heads.

In the picture Jessica isn't really beautiful, but "seeing to believing", if you see her in the life, you'll have to say "How beautiful she is!".
