This is an unspoilt region of the west coast of Scotland, known as Kintyre, in fact the Knapdale region of Kintyre..

I like the sky but is the foreground to buzzy and cluttered ?
The rock formation is amzing but I wonder if the contrast of the dark rock and light coloured lichen (?) is too much.

Each is great in its own right, but I think that there is too even a distribution between sky and foreground. Perhaps a crop top or bottom might help? :)

I take your point Trevor.
Is this any better ?

I don't know about Trevor.. But i prefer the cropped version more.. It has a more impact. Just my humble opinion :-)

Much better. I don't find the second picture anywhere near as distracting. Not sure if your title in done intentionally but "Unspoilt" should be "Unspoiled" I believe.

Prefer the second version.

Thanks for the response guys.

Bryan, you may well be right, but I thought both versions were correct. :?
i.e. unspoilt and unspoiled.

I also prefer number 2,as the water has more of a presence. Lovely shots!

I like both crops with a preference for the 2nd, but the halo over the left rocks catches my eye & I think all the top rocks are a bit darker than they need to be. I'd spend 10 minutes reselecting & fix it.

That's much better Cameron, to my eyes at least. :D

BTW unspoilt is perfectly acceptable :)

I like number 2 but agree with PhotosGuy about the rocks being a bit dark. It's not how I picture Scotland but still very beautiful.

While spoilt just doesn't roll off my tongue like spoiled does both are considered OK. Same with the UN version (UNspoilt/UNspoiled).

Good point about the halo Frank, I hadn't noticed that.
I used shadows and highlights which must have introduced it.

Thanks for that.

Well I'm coming in very late so I'll just say I prefer the second one too. It's a nice image Cameron.

What's Shadows and Highlights? Is it a program?

Shadows and Highlights It's a control first introduced in PSCS. RSE has comparable sliders.

Me either, David. I don't see where CS or CS2 are worth upgrading for what I do, either.
