I realise the B/ground is a bit dodgey...but I guess you gotta get 'em where they play.

I think the crops seem a bit tight and i HATE seeing riders without helmets but thats more of a personal choice

do you ride or are you just photographing random people at the skatepark?

fyi i ride and i am just curius cause from the angles and the tightness of you crops you dont really understand what makes a bmx photo empressive to the viewer imo

going to second this one coming from mtb and bmx, try picking up some bmx mags and looking through them

but I must say the lighting on the second turn out well

Thanks for the feed back from yourself, rideuntildeath and NorCalNomad have taken your advice and will study a bit more of what is needed...

just pic up a copy of ridebmx on one of the better new stands in your area look through it once and youll have plenty of ideas for how to shoot this sport and most of the kids at the skatepark will be more then happy to let you photograph them just make shure you give them your flickr adress or something so they can get the pictures from you
