Is anyone out there currently using Lightroom, in lieu of Photoshop, to get the proper dimensions for the MaxPreps sizing requirements? I've been told I have to get the "exact" dimensions, i.e. 2100 x 1600 in order to get any galleries accepted. Lightroom is so much easier and I do everything right now there however I keep getting 4 pixels too many on the short side.

set a custom crop to 160 X 216.6
Crop first photo in library - and add any adjustments
Sync photos
Export - go to image size set long side to 2166 res 300
that should do it.

Maxpreps has a face book page with a lot of information. This topic has been discussed extensively.

It still can be a few pixels off with this technique when fixing horizons.

I think if you not using flash for high school football games, then they will deny for sure. Can't blame them as this is their requirement. Maybe they will relax it as newer cameras are getting better and better at higher ISO.
