Hi,
A very strange thing has happened.
I just came back from a trip to Xinjiang, China. Copied all my RAW files to a laptop I brought there and also backed up on CD-Rs as well. When I came back, I copied the RAW files to my desktop from the CD-Rs. 99% of the RAWs that I processed on the desktop were OK, but a handful were deemed "corrupted". Thinking that the CD-Rs might have been the problem, I copied the same files from the laptop using a thumbdrive and the files were shown to be "corrupted" again.
Then I tried processing the RAWs from the laptop, and all the "corrupted" RAWs were OK (I used DPP 1.6.1 to see the images, but use Bibble 4.2.6 to process). The resulting JPGs and the RAW files were copied over to the desktop. 2 out of 3 of the JPGs were fine, but the RAW files continued to be shown as "corrupted" by DPP.
I really don't know what's happening! Believe me, I'm considered a PC guru by many, but I really have no answers for this! Can anyone help???
