Looks like a fun day. BTW, the first 4 cars are Mazda RX7 and the last one is a Toyota Corolla AE86.

im sure he knows what kind of cars they are lol

i like them! for the first time your pans are pretty good. its hard to get awesome shots on the outside of the turn. drift angle seems to look better on the apex side of the turn.

good work!

thanks for the comments guys,
at first i was using my 200mm and nothing was coming out at all, so i switched to the 100mm and put the IS on, then i started to get nice sharp images, i think i took 189 and got 5 keepers lol so thats why i did some processing, if i was like yours and i had 300 to process i probably wouldnt do any!! :)

i don't think the last car is a AE86.... its just a USDM corolla... i think.

1/60th, i didnt think that 1/200 would look good

i ment the 200mm lens if that was what you were talking about.

1/60 should be good depending on the speed they are driving. next time try to be on the inside of the turn because its easier to pan and it makes the drift angle look better.

media pass is very easy. show them big camera and big lens and they give you a pass. send them one photo and they give you a pass every time haha.

not around my neck of the woods.... the people who run my events totally suck on pass permissions. i think they favor one guy in my area and he has them all wrapped around his finger.

im sure he doesnt want any competition because he shoots pro. it bugs me because i cant get any good spots to shoot events so how do i prove i can actually be worth anything to them. its kinda their loss but mine as well. the dude is a nikon user too lol. ;)

ive even put up with shooting from seating areas 2 years and after showing quality photos they wont let me get access the the inner track area where its still safe.

but im sure youd have no issue because you have a very good portfolio and your friends with one of the drivers. thats a huge plus for small events.

Love the motion blur effect in #1, along with the colors.
