Boiling sky

This is a fairly rare type of cloud formation, which can usually be seen before the arrival of strong thunderstorms (When I took those pictures, we were under a severe thuderstorm warning). I called them "boiling sky" for obvious reasons. Reminds me of Close encounter of the third kind, when those UFO's came out of their strange camouflage clouds!

It was late in the day (not much light available), so I think the dark trees add a very interresting and dramatic contrast to the clouds!
