Hello, I'm looking for a portable, easy to use, remote flash(es) for my Canon 10D and 20D for use at weddings. As we all know churches are dark, and my Speedlite 550 just doesn't cut it sometimes. Inconsistent results. Looking for one maybe two units with umbrellas that I can control remotely from the camera.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

One option to lighten up dark areas is to use your on camera flash in manual mode and put some inexpensive Morris Mini Slaves in corners and behind pillars. Just don't forget them when you leave. ;)

Using cable-connected lights in a church can be OK, but only if you arrive there early enough that you can tape all of the cables down onto the carpet. If you leave untaped cables around, you can bet on somebody tripping on them.
I guess that is the fundamental advantage of using Canon Speedlites in wireless mode. No cables.

I use two speedlites with wireless for still life - but I would have thought you'd need to put them on tripods for your kind of work? I'd borrow and try it out rather than buying if you can. I undersand you can get light triggered slaves - look, no wires!
