I am at last finishing up my events for last year! Like Tim I often get way behind. LOL. Anyway, here's the New Year's Eve 2009 Dance Party at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California, with the Spazmatics and the Boogie Knights.

#5 I had three 580EX II's with PW TT5's setup at the little runway, two in the front and one back left ... you can see them all ... to light the dancers since the spotlights were always on the band members.

#6 Again, you can see the flashes sitting on the floor at the runway.

Looks like a great fun! How do you like your PW TT5's ?

It was a good time. I don't use the TT's much and am still getting used to them but they seem OK although the US frequencies really cut into their range. I just got free AC5 anti-RF shields that I will try out at some point.

I'm gonna have to steal that idea but the flash on the floor does not make for flattering light on the closeups.

I agree ... I should really put at least one on a MagicArm attached to the railing ... I actually thought about it last year and just didn't get organized enough this year. Actually, I have plenty of MagicArms and should consider putting a couple up, front and back, and maybe leave the third on the camera.
