I hope this is in the right section, I wanted to post into the point and shoot section but that's for canon cameras and I am flexible in terms of camera brand. :p ill stick to canon DSLRs but pos I don't mind going any brand :)

I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations on a good budget point and shoot with a pocket-able form factor. Budget being below $200, maybe even $150...
I can wish for raw or hot shoe/pc sync but that isn't being realistic at a budget of $200 or less. The G9/10 still costs too much.
Two features I do want is image stabilizer and a manual mode.
Of course the factors of image quality and noise will have strong priority and finding a camera that will balance all those features is overwhelming me right now.
The closest I found so far was a Fujifilm F70exr where it has a lot of the features I want, low shutter lag, and very decent ISO performance but those positive traits were overshadowed by its poor lens plagued with fringing and chromatic abrasions that seems to be a subject of debate.
