I was out for some deer photos but had no luck this night. Was allmost with my car and and by coincidence I saw Bambi just beside the road.
I wondered were mummy would be, so I hided behind a Xmas tree and after 10 minutes mummy showed up. I was very glad to see this wonderfull moment.
Have been out for years in the woods and never met this situation
Did some reading about behavior of deer and read that in case of danger, mummy leaves bamby and bamby stays on the ground. Mummy stays not far away.
