My little girl turns 11 today :confused:

We went ice skating yesterday, I still have too many pictures to look through. Here is a little peek into our weekend, nothing special just wanted to share.

I want to go back to the ice arena now. There are a lot of opportunities to get creative if you have the time to play.

Looks like a fun day out! 11-teen is a fun age.

I like the last shot of Lexie the best in this series.. the light is so pretty in that one. :) Skating looks like fun too. :)

The Snoopy set up with the goodies is an adorable idea:) Aaron loves the whole Peanuts gang so I may have to steal that idea for his next birthday:)

The candy was a hit with everyone. It's a popular thing now I guess, we just had cake and ice cream with some Hi C when I was 11 :D

I still need to process the set. I have been too lazy to get it done :o

Thank you! I can't take any credit for the candy though, it was my wife and mother-in-law that did all that.

Thank you, I had set up my lights to take pictures with another camera and she was sitting like this when I was about to pack up and leave. I thought it just about summed up her excitement with our photoshoot :)

like some of the people said the candy stand was a great idea and the last picture is a keeper to show off later to your daughter. your daughter right? well happy late 11th birthday to her

I love the last shot. It's a great glimpse into the kind of girl she is, and should be a lovely memory of that innocent age as her tastes change during the teenage years.

A comment on the first two - I really thought the Asian girl was your daughter, from the way she's positioned in both shots (your daughter is in the middle in the first shot, but kind of squished back so the eye is drawn more to her friend). They are nice, fun shots though, again holding good memories of your daughter's party.

She is my daughter, thank you.

They are a pretty close group. All of them have been in daycare, preschool and then elementary school together. The girl in the front has a very strong and outgoing personality. It shows in her pictures, she knows how to ham it up :) Also, she is a shorty so I need to get her up front or she gets hidden.

My little girl is very quiet and mellow, that shows to me to in her pictures. It's nice to know that other people see the same things I do in my shots.
