View Full Version : scanlines through my images (PowerShot A85 camera)

I get a scanline effect in all my photos while viewing them on the computer or LCD screen. :(
Anybody know what I can do to fix it?, or will I have to ship it back out to Canon... :rolleyes: I hear it is common for the A series to do this. Is this correct?
(changing the settings will not do anything, along with new batteries or a new memory stick)

yes, I will do so, please help.
I just got a cash estimate of how much Canon wants me to pay them to fix this problem, and it is definately not going to happen. I am not paying Canon this rediculous amount.
$180.00........ Can you believe that? Half the original cost of the damned camera, and I didn't even cause any physical damage to the damn thing.. I'm not impressed with Canon.
Anyway, here is a pic of what every photo that comes out of my camera looks like:
