Getting my house in a snow storm and my sister doing a half marathon in the rain:

Won't help much if the lens isn't weathersealed. But thanks for the scare anyway. It woke me up. :)

The lens is weathersealed... Hehhehehehehe... Canon 16-35 2.8L, to be exact... I hope that info removed the scariness of the image, Mitch... Hehehheheh... Both body and lens are currently doing great... Nice, safe, and dry...

Sucks that you have to have a filter on the 16-35 in order to make it weathersealed, though..

Oh, and very cool shot... for some reason I keep thinking of Sham WOW.

After reading on this awhile back, I was surprised to see how few Canon lenses are actually weathersealed, and that means from sand and dust, not just water.
