Here is a different shot I did last week. I decided not to use the telephoto, and just have one to capture the scene. I actually shot this landscape, but later cropped vertically.

The airport isn't really an area of great beauty, unlike the rest of New Zealand, however, with the rainbow, and lush grass, and even the cows, I thought it was pretty cool :p
5min earlier, there were 20 cows on the hill, and the rainbow was very bright.

Yeah, I had thought that, but had already cropped it down to the narrowest 2:3 ratio I could get it.
But still agree the shadow shouldn't be there. It was about 30min before sunset.

Thanks, I'm hoping I can one day, get on the light bridge just past this point, and have a shot directly down runway, of a crosswind landing, with runway lights. Too bad it's a security area. :(
