I've taken to wandering around the city at lunchtime with my Canon G5 and have started to take a few candid (as well as architectural) shots. This is stepping out on a limb a bit from my usual (landscape/nature) style so some critique would be appreciated.
Skater: I had selected ISO400 as I was about to go into the underground (subway) when this guy flashed past on a skateboard. f2, 1/1200, ISO400. Processed through Rawshooter and colours then selectively desaturated in Photoshop, initially to tone down the digital noise, but then because I liked the atmosphere it gave.
St James steps: Once in the underground, I became fascinated by the colour of these steps and then this lady with a red umbrella walked by. f5.6, 1/5sec, ISO400. Processed similar to above.
