Took these today while on a short drive. I didn't even get out of the car to take the photos! How lazy is that?

Nice shot. looks like it could be a whiptail wallaby (Macropus parryi).

You are correct. More commonly known as a Pretty-face Wallaby. Shouldn't have referred to it as a kangaroo. But others might not have known what a wallaby is?!?! :rolleyes:

Aha. So my book on Aussie mammls wasn't a waste of money :-) (I have too many books) . I guess Kangaroo is more widely known around the world.

Nice shots! From the first photo, it looks like wallabies can rotate their ears independently...that's pretty cool.
