Hi guys,
It was a nice day here yesterday and I went down to the local skate park and had a crack at shooting some skateboarding.
So I thought I would share.
Cheers

lower angle, try to get the rider facing you, and try not to have other features in the background ( makes to trick look bigger)

yess something i can comment on!

haha im new to photography but not new to skatebaording, you seem to be just a bit early in ur shots.. take a look at Skateboarding.com pics or a transworldskateboarding mag to get a better idea of what i mean.. for certain tricks you want to take the shot at a certain time.. for example id say even tho its blurry the last one is ur best shot of the hardflip nearly perfect timing.

oh yeah and +1 on the lower angles comment!

keep em coming i could look at these all day!

Cheers for that, this is what I need to hear. Yeah, I had a go at tighter shots and found I was a bit slow and would either chop lims, or the board off. More practice is the key.

Thanks man, yeah that last pic just needed to be a bit cleaner. Point taken on timing the shots. I'll give that a go.
I saw the guy in the background doing something when I was taking that shot, didn't know what until I got home. Man I laughed.

Keep your finger on that shutter and shoot burst. Take advantage of that digital!
