This child wakes up like the energizer bunny..... never misses a beat... I kinda like it slow and quiet for half an hour... lol..
Saturday morning, and the cloud cover was so nice... had to shoot a few frames just for fun.
Technically just "mommy pictures"... but I thought they were kinda fun for sharing. :)
Thanks for looking. :)
This one in her style...

You have two beautiful daughters. My daughters, now grown but young enough to appreciate, would love her outfit in the first! lol

These are so good! Do you ever take a bad picture? I don't think so. Your daughter is so photogenic! I have a 1 and 3 year old and they won't pose for me...maybe when they get a little older they will.

Thank you... She loves her jammies.. and the knit hat is stolen from her daddy... she is quite the "daddy's girl".

Of course I have plenty of bad photos... (we just keep those hidden.. lol). My own children hardly ever pose for me either. I have to bribe or threaten them... lol... Usually I tell them to give me just "one" good shot for me and I'll leave them alone to do their thing. It usually works, but not always. :)
Best thing about kiddos is to just watch them playing.. sit in a corner somewhere, and catch them off guard.... so much easier than trying to get them to pose. lol.. ;)

Keeping records of their childhood is part of our jobs right? I hope your kids appreciate their memories when they get older as much as I plan on mine appreciating it :D
Did you have a photographer in your family growing up?

No photographer in our family.... So with the first baby there were tons of photos, second baby fewer, and by the last one... even less...
I need to start making albums each month like you do.... I bet it's fun to look at them and smile when remembering life's moments. I just print a handful of shots I like for frames... and swamp them out every now and again. Everything else in in my computer on on a DVD somewhere... :(
Maybe I'll start making blurb books.... that would be fun!

I agree Maureen... :) I never really get too concerned if no one likes something... as long as I love it.. and it makes me smile.. it's good. :)

I made Shutterfly books this year for Christmas presents...lastt year I made calendars with LARGE photos that were really beautiful...made those at MyPublisher.com. Blurb is a lot more expensive and I didn't notice any big quality difference.

I think about calendars... but never do that. I think the book idea is a winner though. How was the print quality on Shutterfly..? Can you design your own page layouts or do you have to use their templates?
I'll have to peek at my publisher.com for fun. :) Thanks for the tips Maureen! :)

The first shot is a cool "in the moment" pic. I really like it.
The second is simple and beautiful. A great portrait.
