Digital Photography courses in NYC

Anyone have recommendations for good photography courses in NYC area?
I found this site, it is inexpensive but has anyone ever taken this course?

NYU and The New School offer courses at a higher price... are they worth the difference?
I am new to photography and need a basic course. Books are great but I like the hands on stuff.

Man, this looks exactly like what i have been searching for! Unfortunately there is nothing like this available where I live that wouldn't require me to go back to college and take daytime classes!

I did find a local pro who offered Saturday morning classes and that was very helpful, but not quite so "hands-on" for what your looking for. Sorry i don't have an answer for you -- I just wanted you to know that I share your pain.
