Very nice - it looks like a great experience and you got great access. I think the skater in #3 is very promising as she went so fast the torch blew out. Hopefully you will be able to follow them to Calgary?

The shots were taken at the Olympic Oval in Calgary , the woman skating with the torch is
Susan Auch ,winner of medals in three different Olympic games, I'm not sure if the flame
was completely extinguished , each of the 12,000 torches being used during the run is equipped with a dual burner system.

A huge entourage of at least 100 people was accompanying the torch, most of them were security.
The official Olympic torch photographers that accompany the torch and some press were given a loud verbal reprimand when they chose to walk out on the "fastest ice on the planet" in their street shoes so as to get to near where I was shooting from, they also ignored orders from Oval staff to not cross back across the ice , they were told they were to use the tunnel instead

I think that this has been the case since that idiot protester tackled the torch runner in Guelph, Ont. before Christmas.

I shot the run through my neck of the woods on Dec 16 and there was security, but not 100 of them.
