me and my friend used to ride this moped when we were 15ish. about 4 or 5 years ago. we got it started again and it topped out at about 5mph. and then died. RIP moped.

Don't give up! Could be something simple like dirt in the carb after all those years.

You remembered to mix 2 cycle oil with the gas, right?
