I have seen many variations for DIY shutter release on the web. Inspired as I was I made my own.

This is the third one that I constructed if you count the first one that never quite got completed. In total it cost around $10. But it you take into account all of the time and money I've spent on all three that I've made I could have gone and bought a Canon brand release.

Ha ha! Wow! Im diggin the PVC pipe look! Looks like a mini pipe bomb for a suicide bomber! Thats cool that you made your own, I am always for inventing, but you do know that you could have bought a real one for less than it cost you to make this one right? I am aware that the DIY method is not always the cheapest, especially if you have to try more that once. That said, money isn't always the issue.

That's pretty cool. I wish I knew enough to make my own.
