Just picked Tokina 12-24mm Cool!

Have not had a chance to mount it yet but will post pics soon.

First thoughts, very nice build quality and the front element looks very cool. Matte finish and good size hood. Nice 77mm! Only thing odd to me is the opposite way to zoom out. Anyway, saw the posts and after seeing it in person was sold pretty quickly.

I love my 20-35mm f2.8 Tokina ... seems to me they make seriously competent wide lenses and the brand needs to be on anyones list. Be very interested in seeing any shots.

I have a Sigma 12-24 and I'm generally happy with it. I'd love to see a comaparison of the two someday, but since a memeber is unlikely to own both, and since the magazines don't really do honest 'shootout' testing (i.e. which is better), I'm not sure we'll ever see it.

The sample shot posted looks good, though.
