I've been taking walks after work and bringing my gear with me. Captured this one last night. Subtle use of HDR, I don't like to go overboard. Intentionally kept the picture dark with high contrast, as that is how I like it. This is a 12-shot panorama (each of the 12 shots were created with seven one-stop increment shots)

that's a great shot and a great job in putting them together. So let me under understand ... you took 7 photos of 12 sections each = 84 shots ???

its a cool shot but I'm not seeing what was gained by doing the hdr.
I would think you could have captured this with a single long exposure.

Yessir. Not as daunting as it sounds, I only had to press the shutte button 12 times. The rest of the shots were auto-bracketed.

Well then I've acheived my goal :cool:. I don't really want it to look like HDR.

I'll have to post a non-HDR panorama of my best exposure to show the difference. I'll try to remember to do that later.

I love the shot, think you have done a cracking job... and i understand why you have used HDR for this, it gives it that cool neon feeling when you see it with HDR.
