I wanted to go to the beach today but my planes were changed so i went to this park in the city here in Santo Domingo.

This is my first try @ a theme and composition....... Please give me all thew feed back.

I like #3 the best although I wish there was more past the stacks as the stack server well as foreground elements but the eye is led to a "dead end". The rest look too much like snap shots IMO.

Compared to other posters work, these seem very lacking in colour saturation and contrast. At first I thought over exposure but the whites aren't blown. No3 is probably the best but it would have looked better in the sun light. The rainbow effect in the fountain on the last shot looks promising with further pp but with respect to the locals, it hasn't come off as being the best locations for photography.

How can i gain colour saturation and contrast without photoshop ?

sorry for the dumb question but what is pp ? is it photoshop ?
