I have a Lowerpro Slingshot 100, but I have outgrown it quite a bit.

I need a bag that can fit:
-5D Mark II gripped
-70-200 2.8L IS
-2 avg sized lenses ~ the size of a 17-40L
-2 small lenses ( 50 1.4 & 85 1.8 )
-580 EXII

I won't be carrying around a laptop, but I will be traveling quite a bit so I need it to be airport friendly.

I'm looking into the Lowerpro Flipside series.

Does anyone else have a recommendation? I have read multiple threads, but am still pretty confused.

Well, I've been looking for "the perfect bag" to meet my own requirements. I don't require it to be tank tough because I'm not hard on my stuff. Anyway just got a Joe Farace bag from Adorama and I think it is going to be a nice addition to by collection of bags. It has in it right now.... 16" laptop, 7D with a mini TT1. There's a 100-400mm zoom on that. Also in the bag are a 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8, 28-300 Tamron with VC, a 28-75 Tamron f2.8, 18-55 kit lens, two pocket wizard Plus IIs, a Gary Fong light sphere, 580EX II, sekonic light meter, and a bunch of compact flash cards, batteries, filters, manuals, etc, etc. It holds it all with ease and is reported to "carry on" friendly. I previously used a Tamrac Turbo Cyber Pro (which is a nice bag too).

I'm a big fan of Lowepro gear, just take a loot at their site and see what looks good to you!

Looks like you got some stuff there... maybe a backpack or something might be good?

agreed, you really can't go wrong with lowepro. Bit pricey but their stuff is amazing. I would basically do the same, just go to their website and find anything that suits you and you won't go wrong.

The Flipsides are great bags, comfortable to carry, convenient to use, and they'll easily fit your gear. I love my 300 model when I have to carry all my gear, and have just bought the 200 for outings where I only need a couple of lenses.
