cc please i think this has this lost something in the compression stagei know you cant see the original but is there enough detail and is it sharp,

I agree with pickupman, for some reason this shot is just dull colorwise.

Pickupman has got it dead right. It's underexposed. Don't let that peak on the right hand side of the histogram put you off - it's a snow pic for heaven's sake. I quick levels adjustment will really lift it for you...
..and whilst you've got PS open, crop it just a touch to get rid of that dark patch in the top right corner. Doing so will really simplify the image and focus the attention where it should be: on dada and daughter having a whale of a time.

He is actually asking about the compression in his post.I know that when I used Photobucket, the compression was not as I originally saw it.
